We’re a little bit country!
February 23, 2010 at 6:11 pm | Posted in Music | Leave a commentI apologize for the long delay in between posts. The late and unexpected arrival of winter threw quite the kink in the office schedule but we’re back on track. I fell off the wagon, but we’re still on the right path!
In my absence the Bank has put on quite the series of events, with more coming down the shoe! On Friday night Jason Aldean and special guest Luke Bryan played to a sold out crowd, keeping them out of their seats and on their feet all night long. The capacity crowd enjoyed every minute of Jason Aldean’s latest stop on his “Wide Open Tour!”
On Saturday the tour bus may have left town but that didn’t mean the action went with it. The NKU women’s and mens basketball teams hosted the University of Indianapolis. While the women fell in a hard-fought battle the men were able to pull out a victory on senior night. The Norse were propelled by their senior leadership as David Palmer and Scott Bibbins willed them to victory through their play and their heart. The excitement was palpable and the teams made sure it was a night the seniors would never forget!
With a new week comes another huge show! In keeping with the country music theme, Martina McBride and Trace Adkins are coming to the Bank this Sunday night at 7:30 pm! If you haven’t purchased your tickets the good news is seating is still available for what promises to be a fantastic and entertaining night! Act fast because these tickets are first come first serve and they may not be around if you wait! We hope to see you out this weekend at the Bank of Kentucky Center for a fun-filled evening of great music!!
That’s all for now, I promise you won’t have to wait so long for the next post. That is unless old man winter has more in store for us…let’s hope not!
Until next time,
Be well.

Besides the rockin’ concerts going on, the BOKC is hosting Northern Kentucky University’s 13th annual FreshFusion today to end Welcome Week, or the first week of classes for the fall 2009 semester. Prizes will be given away, as well as performances from NKU’s dance team.
